Johanna Kindvall is an architect who makes illustrations. She grew up in south Sweden with both parents working with handcrafts. As her father Lennart was a drawing artist, he provided her constantly with nice pens and paper. At an early age she created paper dolls and fantasy houses. Later on she started to work more abstractly, both on paper and sculptures. At the same time Johanna was working as a Social worker and it wasn’t until she started architecture that she took up more figurative sketching and drawing again. Sometimes her illustrations are food related as she also enjoys cooking.
